Delivered an invited talk at the 3rd BK21 smart factory workshop!

📢 We are delighted to share the news that our lab member, Seungmi Oh, had an opportunity to deliver an invited talk about "Anomaly detection-based semiconductor defect detection" at the 3rd BK21 smart factory workshop, held at Ewha Womans University on July 20, 2023! She introduced her research topics on anomaly detection for detect detection and related works: reconstruction, anomaly simulation, and distribution-based methods. The workshop was commenced with an opening address from our principal investigator, Professor Jeongtae Kim. In our lab, we are conducting studies on machine vision. For recent research achievements, please refer to the "Publications" section. 우리 연구실 박사과정 오승미 학생이 BK21 스마트팩토리 워크샵에서 "Anomaly detection-based semiconductor defect detection" 을 주제로 발표했습니다. 우리 연구실에서는 머신비전 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 최근 연구성과는 Publications 메뉴를 참조하시길 바랍니다.

Participated in IEEE Sensors 2022!

🤗 We are delighted to share the news that our lab member, Yura Seo, had an opportunity to participate in IEEE Sensors 2022 conference, held at Dallas, Texas USA from Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2022! Her paper, title of "A 3D CNN based People Counting System Using Auto-Correlation Functions from Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar Signals", could be read from this link! Abstract: We propose a people counting system using Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar signals. The proposed method predicts the number of people using deep learning classification with auto-correlation functions of estimated breathing signals. We also attempted to explain the behavior of the deep learning system using modified gradientweighted class activation mapping (GradCAM).
